Assistant Account Executives

Connect Marketingsm offers opportunities for bright individuals to learn the high-tech marketing business in a successful, vibrant organization. We are looking for recent graduates in the Communications, PR and Marketing fields with excellent communication skills who are very detail oriented, hardworking and have an interest in technology. Successful candidates should have an existing knowledge of computer and communications technology or a genuine desire to learn about the industry.

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years’ experience in public relations or marketing. PR Intern experience a plus. There are a limited number of openings in our Provo, UT office.

Account Executives

Individuals should be growth-oriented, account-driven strategists, with PR or marketing experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required in order to interact with client’s top management as well as being able to focus on the details and be actively involved in day-to-day account management. Proven management skills are also needed to lead a team in planning, developing, and implementing strategic marketing-based public relations programs and activities for multiple high-tech firms.

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years’ experience in public relations or marketing with proven ability to manage client relationships. High-tech or .com or agency experience a plus.

Senior Account Executives/Account Supervisors

Individuals should be growth-oriented, account-driven strategists. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required in order to interact with client’s top management as well as being able to focus on the details and be actively involved in day-to-day account management. Ability to manage crises, implement creative and innovative solutions, and demonstrate “big picture” thinking are a must. Experience in an agency environment required with the ability to run multiple accounts, schedule and manage press tours, and produce excellent results. Proven management skills are also needed to lead a team in planning, developing, and implementing strategic marketing-based public relations programs and activities for multiple high-tech firms.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: writing abstracts for proactive pitching, providing counsel on announcement strategies, competitive announcements, etc., writing quarterly and yearly wrap-up reports, managing activities of two or more functions through subordinates—exercising full supervision, leading a team in planning, developing, and implementing public relations programs and activities, developing and managing media tours, and typically supporting/managing multiple clients.

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years’ experience in public relations and/or marketing with proven ability to manage client relationships. High-tech or .com agency experience a plus.
