Connect Marketing is looking for a B2B tech marketing rock star, who is an expert in lifecycle marketing, to build and lead our client’s growth initiatives.

Connect is a leading full-service marketing firm that, for thirty years, has represented such industry-leading tech firms as Symantec, Siemens, Nokia, ServiceNow and Riverbed. In our digital marketing and demand gen practice, we help our clients drive results by turning their websites into lead magnets, nurturing leads across the buyer journey, and converting them into loyal customers. The specific segments on which we focus include security, infrastructure, data and the emerging hybrid world.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in growth marketing, demand generation, ABM, and web marketing. The candidate is data-driven and highly analytical, with a relentless focus on driving pipeline and delivering ROI.

You are a digital marketing expert with proven experience in planning and executing full-funnel multichannel campaigns and tactics. You have a passion for user experience, conversion optimization, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

You’re excited by the challenge of rolling up your sleeves and working in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-impact role where you will partner closely with client contacts in marketing, sales, and other teams to deliver marketing campaigns that meet pipeline targets on time and on budget. This role will directly manage individual contributors.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of demand generation and account-specific ABM strategy in partnership with client marketing and sales teams to create brand awareness, drive engagements, and accelerate pipeline
  • Propose, build and execute demand generation programs through multiple channels (email, SEO, PPC, social, webinar, events, digital, traditional, etc.)
  • Work closely with multiple clients’ marketing and sales teams to drive pipeline by leveraging inbound and outbound strategies, tools, and resources
  • Create marketing personas tied to specific customer needs and preferences and map digital buyers’ journeys
  • Communicate the value proposition of clients’ products/services and ensure marketing materials are on message and on voice
  • Track, evaluate and communicate on marketing performance measures and the effectiveness of campaigns through overall engagement, progression from leads through opportunities, and pipeline generated to continually improve ROI
  • Use data, insights, and business intel to assist in the development of marketing ideas and programs, identify trends, track performance, improve conversion, and optimize spend
  • Manage project/program budgets across all clients
  • Lead team of lead gen and social media managers to ensure programs are on track, on budget, and delivering results for clients
  • Hire, lead, mentor and coach digital marketing team member to continuously improve individual expertise and team performance

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record generating strong, qualified lead volume from digital channels for a B2B company (technology / SaaS products preferred)
  • Data-driven, can dive into metrics, understand KPIs and report on the success
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced work environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong growth track record, with samples and results of past campaigns and an understanding of how to demonstrate performance
  • Works both strategically and in hands-on fashion
  • Familiarity in aligning integrated marketing campaigns to sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth
  • Strong creative thinker with critical thinking and consultative skills
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and project management and budget management skills
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, self-motivated, and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of web technologies, web programming languages, web page design/layout, website performance measurements, and SEO
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, and Demandbase
  • Highly-skilled in HubSpot; proficient in other marketing automation software a plus (Marketo, Pardot)
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly convey ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to develop, manage and retain top talent
  • Ability to work remotely and be self-motivated
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years leading and executing digital marketing strategies and B2B demand creation programs and 5+ years in a leadership role
